社会医学研究部は、保健医療に係る大規模データベース等を活用した研究やフィールドワークなどさまざまな疫学研究手法を用いて、胎児期から幼少期の環境が小児および成人期の健康に与える影響を調べています。小児期や子育て家庭における各種疾患や社会的困難の原因を解明し、安心して妊娠・子育てができる環境を社会に提案することを目標としています。

The Department of Social Medicine conducts research using various epidemiological methods, including large-scale healthcare databases, to investigate the effects of environmental factors on lifelong health. The Department aims to elucidate the causes of diseases and social difficulties in childhood, and to propose societal measures for safe pregnancy and child-rearing.

社会医学研究部長として、小児と家庭を対象とする社会医学研究を推進します。成育医療に関するエビデンスを創出し、子どもの健康を守る社会・養育環境のあり方を提案します。

The head of the Department of Social Medicine Research promotes social medicine research focusing on children and families. He/she generates evidence on developmental healthcare and proposes social environments that protect children's health.

2. 成育社会医学研究における十分な研究実績および研究費獲得実績を有し、本分野を牽引していく意欲と能力があること
3. 関連する研究部門・診療科・事務部門と連携し、研究を推進できること
4. 強いリーダーシップをもって研究室を運営し、若手研究者・学生などに対する研究指導および教育を行えること
5. 成育社会医学に関するエビデンスを創出し、政策や提言として発信できること。また、社会に対して積極的に情報発信できること。

1. Ph.D. degree.

3. A strong track record of research in the field of social medicine.
4. Effective collaboration skills with related research divisions, clinical departments, and administrative units.
5. Leadership and management skills in laboratory operations, and active involvement in mentoring and educating junior researchers and students.

・勤務日：４週８休、月～金（国民の祝日は除く）など
・勤務時間：１週間あたりの勤務時間　38時間45分、8時30分～17時15分（休憩1時間）など（フレックスタイム制あり）

Salary, bonuses, and allowances will be provided in accordance with NCCHD personnel regulations. Working hours: 38 hours 45 minutes per week (8:30 am to 5:15 pm, with a 1-hour break; flex-time available). Employees will be enrolled in social insurance. Annual paid leave, maternity and childcare leave, and other benefits are available according to NCCHD policies. For details, please refer to the NCCHD website.

Selection process

Shortlisted candidates will be requested to give a presentation and attend an interview conducted by the selection committee.

１．採用内定となった場合は、入職前に以下の書類を提出していただきます。

　　①　抗体価検査の結果（結核、B型肝炎、麻疹、風疹、水痘、ムンプス）

　　②　入職日前３か月以内に受診した健康診断の結果

２．当センター指定の医療機関で受診する場合は、当センターが料金を負担します。

　　指定外の医療機関で受診される場合は自費負担となります。

　　なお、有効期間内の結果を既にお持ちの場合は、それをご提出いただけます。

３．抗体価検査の結果、当センターで定める基準に満たない場合には、自費でワクチンを接種していただきます。

４．応募書類等は、個人情報に配慮して適切に処理します。返却はいたしませんので、あらかじめご了承ください。

1. If you receive a job offer, please submit the following documents before joining:
   • Results of antibody titer tests (for tuberculosis, hepatitis B, measles, rubella, 　varicella, mumps)
   • Results of a health checkup conducted within 3 months prior to the start date

2. If you undergo the tests at the medical institution designated by our center, the center will cover the costs.
   　If you use a medical institution outside the designated ones, you will be responsible for the fees.
   　If you already have valid test results within the effective period, please submit those.
3. If the antibody titer test results do not meet the standards set by our center, you will need to receive the necessary vaccinations at your own expense.
