国立研究開発法人国立成育医療研究センター研究所は、病院・女性の健康総合センターとの緊密な連携のもとに、成育医療における実験医学から社会医学に至るまで広範な分野を対象とした先進的研究を遂行しています。このたび当センターでは社会医学研究部長の公募を行うことになりました。当該分野において、意欲を持って活躍いただける方を求めております。
NCCHD Research Institute carries out advanced research in a wide range of fields in child health and development, ranging from experimental to social medicine, in close cooperation with NCCHD hospital and the Integrated Center for Women's Health. The Research Institute is now inviting applications for the position of Head of the Department of Social Medicine. We are looking for motivated candidates who can work in this field.

社会医学研究部は、保健医療に係る大規模データベース等を活用した研究やフィールドワークなどさまざまな疫学研究手法を用いて、胎児期から幼少期の環境が小児および成人期の健康に与える影響を調べています。小児期や子育て家庭における各種疾患や社会的困難の原因を解明し、安心して妊娠・子育てができる環境を社会に提案することを目標としています。 |
| 業務内容 Duties of the Head of the Department of Social Medicine |
社会医学研究部長として、子どもと家族を対象とした社会医学研究を推進します。成育医療に関するエビデンスを創出し、子どもの健康を守る社会・養育環境のあり方を提案します。また、国内外の研究・医療機関との共同研究を推進し、若手研究者や大学院生の指導・育成、ならびに社会医学に関する情報発信と社会貢献を担います。 The head of the Department of Social Medicine promotes social medicine research focusing on children and families. The Head generates evidence on developmental healthcare and proposes social environments that protect children's health. He/she promotes collaborative research with research and medical institutions, educates young researchers and graduate students, and disseminates information on social medicine. |

社会医学研究部長としての要件 |
1. 博士の学位を有すること 1. Ph.D. degree. 2. Strong research and funding record in social medicine related to child health and development, with the ability to lead the field. 3. Ability to collaborate with research, clinical, and administrative units. 4. Demonstrated leadership, management, and mentoring skills. 5. Ability to generate evidence, inform policy, and communicate findings to the public. |

List of achievements clearly categorized into original papers (peer-reviewed only), reviews, books, and others, separately in English and Japanese. Invited lectures, symposia, and international conference presentations should be listed; general oral presentations are unnecessary. Include a record of research funding acquired. 3. Five representative publications (reprints or copies) 4. Summary of past research achievements and future vision as the Head of the Department of Social Medicine (approx. 2000 Japanese characters each or approximately one A4 page in English for each section) 5. | 待遇 Salary and benefits |
・給与:職員給与規程による Salary, bonuses, and allowances will be provided in accordance with NCCHD personnel regulations. Working hours: 38 hours 45 minutes per week (8:30 am to 5:15 pm, with a 1-hour break; flex-time available). Employees will be enrolled in social insurance. Annual paid leave, maternity and childcare leave, and other benefits are available according to NCCHD policies. For details, please refer to the NCCHD website. |

1. 採用内定となった場合は、入職前に以下の書類を提出していただきます。 1. If selected, the successful candidate must submit the following documents before appointment: ① Results of antibody titer tests for tuberculosis and hepatitis B ② Proof of two doses of the vaccines for measles, rubella, varicella, and mumps, or the results of antibody titer tests for these four diseases. ③ Results of a medical check-up conducted within the past three months before the start date 2. If the medical examination is conducted at an NCCHD-designated medical institution, the cost will be covered by NCCHD. Examinations at non-designated institutions will be at the applicant's expense. 3. If antibody titers do not meet NCCHD standards, the applicant must personally pay for vaccination. 4. All submitted documents will be handled appropriately with regard to personal information and will not be returned. 5. The first six months will be a probationary period. 6.
