国立研究開発法人国立成育医療研究センターは、「子どもの健康と環境に関する全国調査(エコチル調査)」のメディカルサポートセンターとして、大規模な遺伝子解析研究を主導してきました。当該分野において、子どもの健康および子どもを取り巻く環境の課題を俯瞰する見識を持ちながら、社会情勢や関連する研究動向を分析し課題設定および研究の計画立案・実施を行い、本分野のパイオニアとして先進的な成果を創出できる方を求めています。

The Medical Support Center (MSC) of the Japan Environment and Children's Study (JECS) has been conducting a large-scale genetic study to elucidate the genetic factors associated with child health and development. We are seeking individuals with a comprehensive understanding of child health genetics, including gene-environment interactions. In addition, we are seeking individuals who can investigate trends and related research and independently promote research as a pioneer in this field to produce cutting-edge results.

エコチル調査研究部について About the Medical Support Center for the Japan Environment and Children's study	子どもの健康と環境に関する全国調査（エコチル調査）は、環境省が行っている10万組の母子を対象とした疫学調査である。エコチル研究部は、エコチル調査のメディカルサポートセンター機能を担い、調査の実施とその結果を利用した研究を実施している。 The Japan Environment and Children's Study (JECS), one of the largest birth cohorts to date enrolling more than 100,000 mother-child pairs, has been conducted nationwide since 2011. The mission of the Medical Support Center (MSC) is to support the planning, implementation, and management of JECS from a medical perspective.
業務内容 Duties of the Chief of Division of Experimental Pharmacology	エコチル調査の遺伝子解析研究プロジェクトを主導し、母子の健康に関わる遺伝学的要因と、環境・生活習慣因子との相互作用の解明、成果の社会実装に向けた基礎づくりを担う。具体的には以下の業務を遂行する。・エコチル調査データのゲノムワイド関連解析（GWAS）を中心とした研究の企画・実施・国内外の研究動向を踏まえた重点的研究課題の抽出と推進・環境省をはじめとしたJECS関係機関との定期的な連携・協議への参加・研究成果の社会実装に向けた取り組みと国内外への情報発信・遺伝子解析分野における研究費獲得・この分野における若手研究者育成 The chief will lead the genetics research projects of JECS, elucidating genetic determinants for maternal and child health, as well as gene-environment interactions for various environmental and lifestyle factors. The following tasks will be carried out: ・Planning and implementation of genome-wide association studies using JECS data. ・Identifying and promoting priority research projects based on national and international research trends ・Collaboration with JECS-related organizations. ・Contributing to the development and improvement of the research basis of JECS. ・Disseminate research results ・Acquisition of research funds and education of young researchers
遺伝子解析室長としての要件 Requirements for the Chief Position	1.博士号を有すること 2.医学研究に関する教育・訓練を受けていること 3.大規模ゲノム情報解析と機械学習法（深層学習を含む）を応用した解析に関する実績を有し、各種ゲノム・オミクス解析ツール（Plink、SAIGE、REGENIE、Coloc、BCFtools、Beagle、Eagle、SNP2HLA、PRS-CS、SAMtools、DESeq2など）や機械学習ソフトウェア（Pytorch、R-grfなど）の扱いに習熟していること。 4.医学的知見とデータサイエンスの両面を活かし、ゲノムに関する分野横断的な研究を主導できる意欲・能力があること 5.十分なリーダーシップスキル、マネジメントスキル、およびコミュンケーションスキルがあり、プロジェクト遂行への積極性を有すること 6.若手研究者育成に関する意欲・能力を有すること 1.Ph.D. degree. 2.Education/training in medical research. 3.Sufficient knowledge in large-scale genome informatics research and machine learning methods. 業務内容

Duties of the Chief of Division of Experimental Pharmacology

エコチル調査の遺伝子解析研究プロジェクトを主導し、母子の健康に関わる遺伝学的要因と、環境・生活習慣因子との相互作用の解明、成果の社会実装に向けた基礎づくりを担う。具体的には以下の業務を遂行する。

・エコチル調査データのゲノムワイド関連解析（GWAS）を中心とした研究の企画・実施
・国内外の研究動向を踏まえた重点的研究課題の抽出と推進
・環境省をはじめとしたJECS関係機関との定期的な連携・協議への参加
・研究成果の社会実装に向けた取り組みと国内外への情報発信

The chief will lead the genetics research projects of JECS, elucidating genetic determinants for maternal and child health, as well as gene-environment interactions for various environmental and lifestyle factors. The following tasks will be carried out:

遺伝子解析室長としての要件

1.博士号を有すること
