Chief, Division of Experimental Pharmacology (1 Position, Term: up to 5 years, renewable)

実験薬理研究室は、受精・妊娠に始まり、胎児期、出生後の成長に至る成育サイクルの科学的・医学的理解を深め、成育医療に科学的根拠を提供し、健全な次世代育成に貢献することを目的としています。特に、薬物効果・作用機序・安全性の定量的評価に関する研究を通じて、成育医療や女性の健康・医学の発展に寄与する研究を推進します。

The Division of Experimental Pharmacology aims to deepen scientific and medical understanding of the developmental cycle, from fertilization and pregnancy through fetal development and postnatal growth. The division provides scientific evidence to support child and perinatal healthcare and to contribute to the healthy development of future generations. In particular, the division promotes research focused on the evaluation of drug efficacy, mechanisms of action, and safety, thereby advancing pediatric medicine as well as women's health and medicine.

Duties of the Chief of Division of Experimental Pharmacology

The Chief of the Division of Experimental Pharmacology will comprehensively lead research, education, and public outreach in disease areas related to the developmental cycle, from fertilization and pregnancy, through the fetal period, to postnatal growth.

5.研究室の運営をリードし、若手研究者・学生に対する研究指導および教育に積極的に取り組めること

   2. 2.High motivation to advance research on experimental pharmacology.
   3. 3.Applicants must have a strong track record of research in the field of organoids derived from human pluripotent stem cells, including demonstrated success in securing competitive research funding, and must be capable of leading and advancing medical research in this area.
   4. 4.Demonstrated research achievements and successful acquisition of funding in three-dimensional neural tissue/organoid studies derived from hPSCs, with the capacity to advance medical research related to neurodevelopment and brain function.
   5. 5.Effective collaboration skills with related research divisions, clinical departments, and administrative units.
   6. 6.Leadership and management skills in laboratory operations, and active involvement in mentoring and educating junior researchers and students.
   7. 7.Proactive public communication regarding neuropsychiatric disorders and sex differences in pediatric, perinatal, and women's health.

Salary, bonuses, and allowances will be provided in accordance with NCCHD personnel regulations. Working hours: 38 hours 45 minutes per week (8:30 am to 5:15 pm, with a 1-hour break; flex-time available). Employees will be enrolled in social insurance. Annual paid leave, maternity and childcare leave, and other benefits are available according to NCCHD policies. For details, please refer to the NCCHD website.
