| Nearly 99 percent of the deaths of children under five occurs in developing countries. Japan has achieved one of the best child health indicators in the past 50 years. Now we have an obligation to support the children of the world. According to WHO Millennium Developmental Goals, some of these goals aim to make achievements in pediatric mortality, maternal health and infectious diseases. Pediatric and maternal health specialists are expected to make contributions to these areas. |  |
